This was the next prompt: “Precious”. I had a planned sketch that I liked, which was the drawing on the right. I drew it out twice and couldn’t get it to look like my sketch. So I finally tried to directly ink my sketch out of frustration, and then messed up on the arm/hand. I usually don’t have problems with any of this stuff.

These were when I had my first bit of trouble at inktober. This is for “Exhausted” and I couldn’t manage to quite get my idea the way I wanted. I rarely plan drawings or use reference, so if a drawing requires more, I can often jump into it and have it come out awfully. I also wasn’t thinking about the guy’s bodily position next to the car, or how the car body sits low and hides most of the inner view of the tire very much. I should have drawn the guy lying down underneath the car with his head tilted back, and that only just dawned on me. But anyway, in the second picture, I used reference for the car and it came out way better, and I at least had the guy coming out of a sewer. I’m pretty happy with the second picture, but this is the first time I’ve posted it. I tried to just move onto the next prompt and had more trouble…

theres another coaster show coming up, so I bought some coasters but I bought the wrong size (3.5 instead of 4). I was planning on selling some stuff last year but never pulled the trigger with my storenvy store even though it’s pretty much set up. I’ll likely be putting some of the small ones up for sale along with some of the original stuff. These are some of what I’ve done so far. I’m gonna re-do the lower right one and may color these
