I’ve only seen the first one, but I liked it. I feel like I remember being disappointed when I first watched it and I have no idea why. I probably wasn’t ready for it at the time and I’m long overdue for a rewatch. I think FROM BEYOND clicked with me more for reasons unknown. Are the sequels worth a damn?

Stuart Gordon is the man though. I just caught THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM this year and it’s pretty brutal. Gordon chooses great actors. TP&TP has Lance Henricksen, Oliver Reed, Tom Towles, Jeffrey Combs, Mark Margolis, & Frances Bay.
