aesthetic of the day is countermeasures for invasive technology. I want countermeasures for face recognition tech and countermeasures for drones. I want countermeasures for online tracking, countermeasures for hashtag poisoning, countermeasures for public surveillance, and countermeasures for private surveillance!!

Thanks to the internet, I identified 2 things in the backyard today.

1. Bushtit nest (managed to get a shot (and a video) of the bird!)

2. Red Valerian aka Devil’s Beard

Finally done with this painting for my sister. I learned a lot while working on it and am pretty satisfied with how it came out. I get why lots of painters are never 100% satisfied. There’s a lot of problems with it, but I’m still learning. I could continue trying to fix all of the things I feel are wrong with it but I don’t want it to get too altered from how it is now in my attempts to fix things. I’venever planned a painting like this and it took me about a month to finish.

I have been having some really vivid and realistic dreams lately. Sometimes I have those dreams where I feel these extremely intense emotions that I rarely feel regularly.
