Hey everybody! We’re almost halfway through September already! It has become an annual thing for me to gif a horror movie a day for each day in October (Lots of posts [25-75 per day or so] that are dispersed throughout the day), it has also become a thing where I warn everybody about gore! My blog started out as a horror splatter gif blog devoted to the fun and innovation of practical special effects, becoming more generalized over time. Horror-wise, I post everything from head explosions to boogery monsters to stabby stuff to fountains of blood and guts, etc. I don’t post any real life gore, and there are some special effects things I don’t post if they just tend to bum me out more than anything. While I do post gore stuff throughout the year, it’s sporadic.
I don’t want to be the cause of somebody’s bad time, so for people who would rather not see decapitations, cannibalism, evisceration, exploding monsters, vomit, bugs, and maybe some bug vomit, it might be to your benefit to unfollow me, at least during October. I can assure you that it’s all in good fun, for the love of horror and movie sludge, slime, and grossness. Feel encouraged to ask any questions about this. And also feel free to recommend stuff! I don’t have the full list decided yet!
